Cookie Policy

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this website. This page explains what that means and what little we do use.

Last updated: 22 August 2026

Summary

This website sets no advertising cookies, no tracking cookies and no third-party marketing cookies. That is why you were not greeted by a consent banner – under EU and UK law, a banner is required when a site sets non-essential cookies, and we do not.

1. What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. Cookies can be useful – keeping you signed in, remembering a preference – and they can also be used to follow you between websites and build an advertising profile. We use the first kind sparingly and none of the second kind.

2. What this website uses

TypeUsed here?Detail
Strictly necessaryOnly if neededSet only if a feature genuinely requires it – for example a security token on a form. These do not need consent under EU law.
AnalyticsNo cookiesAny analytics we use counts page views without identifying you or storing anything on your device. We will not add an analytics tool that sets cookies.
Advertising / marketingNoWe do not advertise on this site and we set no advertising cookies.
Social media trackersNoWe do not embed like buttons, tracking pixels or social widgets.
Cross-site trackingNoWe do not track you across other websites, ever.

3. Third-party content

We load our typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. Google Fonts does not set cookies for this. No other third-party content is embedded on this website.

If you follow a link from here to another website – the App Store, Google Play, or a Paddle checkout page – that site sets its own cookies under its own policy. Paddle's checkout uses cookies necessary to process your payment and prevent fraud; see Paddle's cookie policy.

4. Our mobile apps

Mobile apps do not use cookies in the browser sense. They store settings and, where needed, a session token on your device. Our apps do not use advertising identifiers and contain no third-party ad networks. What our apps collect is set out in the Privacy Policy.

5. Controlling cookies

Every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies in its settings, and every browser offers a private or incognito mode that discards them when you close the window. Blocking all cookies may break parts of other websites; it will not break this one.

6. Changes

If we ever start using cookies that require consent, we will update this page and show a proper consent banner that lets you refuse as easily as accept – before any such cookie is set, not after.
